Where Swayosoo came from
Swayosoo was born from a gap, not in the market but in life: the moment when a parent realises they cannot be in two places at once. When love is not the problem, but the absence of systems is.
Our founders saw what millions of Nigerian working parents live every day: the juggle between career ambition and the deep need to be present in their children’s early years. The informal support systems that previous generations relied on have been thinned by urbanisation. The crèche you trust doesn’t always have the tools to show you what they do, leaving you sitting in a meeting, wondering if your child is okay.
